ŠK Jablonica's October racing programme continued across the border on Saturday, 3 October, with the 24th edition of Běh za bořetickým burčákem in Bořetice, Czech Republic. The club was represented in both the children's programme and the main road race, with seven-year-old Anežka Ochotnická producing the standout result of the day.

The traditional event combined children's races over distances starting at 70 metres with the afternoon 5 km and 10 km road races.

Anežka Ochotnická delivered ŠK Jablonica's best result. Racing against girls born in 2019–2020, she completed the course in 53 seconds to finish 3rd in a field of 20 competitors. Only two seconds separated her from the winner. Anežka also challenged herself over the longer 480 m distance alongside older girls, finishing in 2:17.

Veronika Ochotnická competed in the youngest girls' 70 m race, clocking 19 seconds for 6th place in a field of 24 runners.

Laura and Šimon Ochotnický both took on more than one distance. Laura finished sixth in the 720 m race in 3:41 before later completing 960 m in 5:42. Šimon recorded 54 seconds and 7th place among eleven boys over 240 m. He also tested himself over the considerably longer 960 m distance.

Miroslav Ochotnický represented ŠK Jablonica in the main 10 km race. He crossed the finish line in 1:04:04.77, placing 57th overall and 23rd in the men's 40+ category.

The trip to Bořetice therefore combined another valuable racing experience for the club's youngest athletes with a start in the main road race. This time, the highlight belonged to Anežka Ochotnická – third place among 20 competitors was a well-earned podium finish.
