Beh jurským chotárom Once Again Brought Young Runners Together – ŠK Jablonica Was Proud to Be Part of It

The traditional Beh jurským chotárom took place on Saturday, 18 July, in Borský Svätý Jur, once again bringing together runners of all ages. The event featured races of the Záhorie Children's Running Cup alongside the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup, with a strong team from ŠK Jablonica proudly taking part.

Despite the hot summer conditions, our athletes delivered determined performances throughout the afternoon. The event offered everything that makes youth athletics special—competitive racing, encouragement from teammates and families, and plenty of smiles at the finish line.

The biggest highlights came in the form of two victories. Sebastian Jozefík won the youngest boys' category, while Linda Vozárová claimed victory among the preschool girls. Strong performances also earned Anežka Ochotnická and Timotej Morávek second-place finishes, while Veronika Ochotnická added another podium with third place.

Excellent performances continued throughout the team. Kristián Kubisa finished fifth, while Diana Ochotnická and Laura Ochotnická both placed sixth in their respective youth races. In the older categories, Laura and Diana secured fifth places, and Šimon Ochotnický finished seventh among the junior boys. The club was also represented in the main race by Miroslav Ochotnícky, who completed the demanding course in the M40 category.

Overall, ŠK Jablonica recorded 11 starts and five podium finishes, but the results tell only part of the story. The event was equally about gaining experience, building confidence, supporting one another and enjoying another memorable day of athletics.
