Bronze medal and personal bests. ŠK Jablonica at the Slovak Indoor Championships in Ostrava
The peak of the indoor season brought strong competition and valuable experience. At the Slovak Indoor Championships for men and women held on February 26–27, 2026 in Ostrava, two junior athletes and one junior athlete from ŠK Jablonica competed against senior opposition and delivered strong performances.
The highlight came from Tamara Svatíková in the 60 m hurdles, where she secured the bronze medal with a time of 9.00 seconds. In a fast and technically demanding event, she demonstrated composure and consistency at the national championship level.
Tamara also competed in additional events. In the long jump, she finished seventh with a personal best of 5.64 metres. In the 60 m sprint, she placed twelfth with a time of 7.83 seconds, completing a demanding championship programme.
In the 1500 m, Filip Kubíček finished sixth with a personal best of 4:13.18. Ondrej Hudeček placed fifteenth in 4:32.04, also achieving a personal best. Competing in the senior category represents another important step in the development of both young athletes.
The championships in Ostrava brought a medal, multiple personal bests and further confirmation that ŠK Jablonica athletes can compete at the highest national level. The season continues, and so does their ambition.
