Consistency beyond the podium. Ochotnícki represented ŠK Jablonica in Šaštín

Not every performance is measured by medals. Some are defined by consistency, commitment and the willingness to stand on the starting line again and again. That is exactly the story written by Miro and Mirka Ochotnícki at the Beh Šaštínskymi bormi race.

On March 28, 2026, the XXXIII edition of this traditional event took place in the Gazárka recreational area in Šaštín-Stráže. The race is part of several regional running series and attracts a wide range of participants – from young children to adult runners.

The course combines forest paths and asphalt sections, testing both endurance and the ability to adapt to changing terrain. The main races were held over distances of 5.5 km and 10.3 km.

ŠK Jablonica was represented by its long-time members Miro and Mirka Ochotnícki. Both competed in the 5.5 km race and delivered steady performances built on consistent training and long-term dedication.

Their participation is not just about results. It represents commitment, continuity and the idea that athletics is not only about elite competition. Athletes like them form the backbone of every strong sports community.

The next opportunity to experience a similar atmosphere will be on April 25, 2026 at the Jablonická desiatka, where both competitive and recreational runners will meet on the same starting line.
