Experience over results. Young athletes from ŠK Jablonica competed in Piešťany

Not every competition ends with a podium finish. Sometimes it brings something more important – experience.

On March 28, 2026, the Children's Club Cup of the Trnava Region took place in Piešťany, bringing together a large number of young athletes and creating strong competition across all age categories.

Among the competing teams were strong regional clubs such as Funny Athletics Piešťany, AŠK Slávia Trnava, Atletika Nové Mesto nad Váhom, TJ Družba Piešťany and Atletický klub Senica.

The competition included multiple disciplines – 60 m sprint, standing long jump and throwing events – with each athlete completing all three.

ŠK Jablonica had representatives in several categories. Although this time the results did not translate into podium finishes, the value of the event goes beyond rankings.

For young athletes, these competitions are about gaining experience, handling pressure and building confidence in a competitive environment. Every race is a step forward – even when it is not yet visible in the results.

These moments build future performance.

The next opportunity to experience a similar atmosphere will be on April 25, 2026 at Jablonická desiatka.
