Filip Kubíček wins Slovak U18 indoor title, Ondrej Hudeček sets personal best

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, the Slovak U18 Indoor Championships took place in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The best young athletes from across Slovakia gathered at the Sportcentrum indoor arena to compete for national titles.

ŠK Jablonica was represented by two athletes in middle-distance events – Filip Kubíček and Ondrej Hudeček.

The biggest success came in the 3000-metre race, where Filip Kubíček delivered an excellent tactical performance and won the Slovak championship title with a time of 9:08.26.

Ondrej Hudeček also produced a strong performance in the 1500 metres. He finished in 4th place in the final and set a new personal best of 4:31.19.

Competing at the national championships provided valuable experience and a strong test against the best youth runners in Slovakia. The results confirm the good form and consistent training progress of the ŠK Jablonica athletes.
