Gaining experience in strong competition. Young athletes from ŠK Jablonica in Mikulčice

On April 11, 2026, the 50th anniversary edition of the traditional road race Velká Morava took place in Mikulčice, Czech Republic.

The event featured a full-day program for all age categories, from young children to adult runners. Youth races were held in the morning, followed by the main 10 km race.

ŠK Jablonica had representatives across several categories. Among them were Diana Ochotnická, Šimon Ochotnický, Anežka Ochotnická, Veronika Ochotnická and Patrik Polák, who competed in a strong field of young athletes.

For them, the event was an important step in their development – gaining experience, adapting to race conditions and competing outside their home environment.

Although this time without podium finishes, events like these are essential for long-term progress.
