Personal bests and strong performances for ŠK Jablonica in Piešťany

Fast sprint races, hurdles and technical events. Young athletes from ŠK Jablonica delivered strong performances and several personal bests at the latest round of the West Slovak Athletics Association team competition in Piešťany.

On May 10, 2026, athletes from ŠK Jablonica competed in multiple events in the older girls category, collecting valuable points for the team in strong regional competition.

A strong performance came from Viktória Nemčeková, who recorded a time of 12.49 s in the 80 m hurdles. She also placed third in the javelin throw with a distance of 27.54 m.

Agáta Gbelcová competed in sprint events, running 8.66 s in the 60 m and 20.87 s in the 150 m. Both performances resulted in new personal bests.

Alžbeta Zonová also confirmed her progress, clocking 9.45 s in the 60 m and 23.22 s in the 150 m. She improved her personal bests in both disciplines.

The competition in Piešťany once again showed the strength of regional athletics and provided another valuable experience for the young athletes of ŠK Jablonica.
