Silver, Bronze and More Strong Performances for ŠK Jablonica at the Slovak U20 Championships

Following her successful appearance at the Slovak U23 Championships, Tamara Svatíková continued her excellent season at the Slovak U20 Championships, held on 11–12 July at the Anton Hajmássy Municipal Athletics Stadium in Trnava. The national championship brought together the country's best junior athletes, with ŠK Jablonica once again represented among the leading competitors.

Tamara competed in three events and delivered outstanding performances throughout the weekend.

Her biggest success came in the 100 m hurdles, where she clocked 13.92 seconds, setting a new personal best and winning the silver medal. Breaking the 14-second barrier represents another important milestone in her athletic development and confirms her place among Slovakia's top junior hurdlers.

She added a second medal in the long jump, clearing 5.74 metres to secure the bronze medal. Winning two medals at the same national championship once again demonstrated her remarkable versatility across different disciplines.

Tamara also produced a strong performance in the 200 metres, finishing fourth with a time of 24.63 seconds, narrowly missing another podium finish.

ŠK Jablonica also celebrated an excellent result from Filip Kubíček, who finished fourth in the 1500 metres with a time of 4:07.21. Although he narrowly missed a medal, his performance confirmed his position among Slovakia's leading junior middle-distance runners.

The championships in Trnava were another successful weekend for ŠK Jablonica. Two medals, a new personal best for Tamara Svatíková and a strong fourth-place finish by Filip Kubíček highlighted the club's continued success in developing talented young athletes capable of competing at the highest national level.
