Silver medal and personal bests. ŠK Jablonica at the Slovak U20 Indoor Championships in Nyíregyháza

The Slovak U20 Indoor Championships brought a medal, multiple personal bests and strong final performances for ŠK Jablonica. Three athletes represented the club and each of them delivered a meaningful result.

On February 15, 2026, the Slovak U20 Indoor Championships were held in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The competition gathered the country's top junior athletes and offered a high level of performance.

The standout athlete of the team was Tamara Svatíková. In the 60 m hurdles she secured the silver medal with a time of 8.63 seconds. She improved her personal best already in the heats with 8.66 seconds and ran even faster in the final. Two personal bests in one day confirmed her steady progression.

In the long jump she finished fourth with 5.59 metres, staying in medal contention until the final attempts. In the 200 m she placed fifth with a time of 25.61 seconds, once again demonstrating her versatility.

In the 1500 m, Filip Kubíček finished sixth in 4:22.87, setting a new personal best. Ondrej Hudeček placed tenth with 4:32.89, also achieving a personal best. Both athletes are still technically in the U18 category, making their performances in the U20 field particularly promising.

The championships confirmed the growth of ŠK Jablonica athletes and their ability to compete at national level. The season continues and so does the ambition.
