02/07/2026

The last weekend of June belonged to one of Slovakia's most traditional road running events – the Milan Rastislav Štefánik National Run held in Brezno. The event featured the main 14.5 km and 5 km races alongside numerous children's and youth competitions, where ŠK Jablonica athletes proudly represented the club.

Our team competed across several age categories, once again demonstrating the strength of our youth development program.

The club's biggest success came from Sebastián Jozefík, who claimed victory in the Boys 2015–2016 category with an excellent time of 1:11.7. David Babiar also delivered a strong performance, finishing fourth in the same category.

Among the youngest girls, Linda Vozárová secured 1st place in the Girls 2021–2022 category. The club celebrated another outstanding team result as Vivien Kubisová finished 2nd, while Veronika Ochotnická placed fifth.

Another podium finish came from Anežka Ochotnická, who earned 3rd place in the Girls 2019–2020 category.

Several other athletes also performed well. Kristián Kubisa and Šimon Ochotnický represented the club in the Boys 2017–2018 race, Laura Ochotnická finished fourth among Girls 2013–2014, and Diana Ochotnická placed eighth in her category.

In the adult races, Miroslav Ochotnický won the Men 40+ category over the 5 km distance. Laura Ochotnická also competed in the Nordic Walking race, finishing third among the women.

Events like the M. R. Štefánik National Run provide valuable racing experience, motivation, and unforgettable memories for our athletes. We are proud that ŠK Jablonica was represented across so many age groups and returned home with several excellent results.

Congratulations to all our athletes for representing the club so well!
