The Slovak U18 Championships took place in Martin on 20–21 June, bringing together the country's best young athletes for the most important national competition of the season. ŠK Jablonica was proudly represented by several athletes competing among Slovakia's elite.

The standout performer of the weekend was Filip Kubíček, who became Slovak U18 Champion in the 3000 metres. He produced an excellent race and claimed the national title with a winning time of 9:38.30.

Kubíček also delivered a strong performance in the 1500 metres, where he finished second in 4:17.60, earning the silver medal. His championship weekend therefore brought both a national title and a vice-champion title, making him one of the most successful athletes of the meeting.

Ondrej Hudeček also enjoyed a successful championship. In the 800 metres, he finished 8th and recorded a new personal best of 2:09.82, a significant milestone at the country's premier youth event. He later competed in the 1500 metres, finishing 11th with a time of 4:31.12.

Tamara Svatíková also represented ŠK Jablonica in Martin. She started in the junior women's 100 m hurdles and was entered in the heptathlon. Unfortunately, she was unable to complete the hurdles race and did not finish the combined event.

The Slovak Championships once again demonstrated that ŠK Jablonica continues to develop athletes capable of competing at the highest national level. A national title, a silver medal and a personal best achieved at the season's most prestigious youth competition are achievements the entire club can be proud of.

Congratulations to all ŠK Jablonica athletes for their performances and for proudly representing the club at Slovakia's premier U18 championship event.
