Athletes from ŠK Jablonica continued their excellent summer season at the prestigious international P-T-S 2026 Meeting in Banská Bystrica. The event also featured junior competitions, where Tamara Svatíková and Filip Kubíček both produced impressive performances, each achieving new personal bests.
Filip Kubíček delivered an outstanding race in the 1000 metres, finishing 4th in 2:32.31, setting a new personal best. Competing against a strong field, he once again demonstrated his steady progress among Slovakia's leading junior middle-distance runners.
Tamara Svatíková competed in two events.
In the 200 metres, she finished 4th with a new personal best of 24.95 seconds, continuing her excellent sprinting form this season.
Tamara also represented Slovakia as a member of the Slovak U20 4 × 100 m relay team. The quartet finished 4th with a time of 45.82 seconds, another valuable international experience and further confirmation of her place among the country's top junior athletes.
Although both athletes narrowly missed the podium, their performances carried significant value. Two personal bests, a national team appearance and fourth-place finishes at one of Slovakia's premier athletics meetings highlight the continued progress of ŠK Jablonica's young talents.
