Tamara Svatíková wins Slovak indoor combined events title
The Slovak Indoor Combined Events Championships took place on March 14–15, 2026 in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. Athletes competed in several age categories including juniors and older pupils. ŠK Jablonica was represented by junior athlete Tamara Svatíková and Viktória Nemčeková in the older girls category.
The biggest success came from Tamara Svatíková, who won the Slovak national title in the junior women's pentathlon with a total of 3369 points. She secured the victory with a comfortable lead ahead of Alexandra Brišová from ŠK UMB Banská Bystrica (3029 points) and Alexandra Cabanová from Atletika Šport hrou Prešov (3014 points).
Tamara delivered balanced performances across all five disciplines. She ran 8.75 seconds in the 60 m hurdles, cleared 153 cm in the high jump and threw 9.43 m in the shot put. In the long jump she recorded 553 cm and finished the competition with a time of 2:42.03 in the 800 metres.
Another ŠK Jablonica athlete competing at the championships was Viktória Nemčeková in the older girls category. She finished 11th in the pentathlon with a total of 2460 points. Her results included 9.59 seconds in the 60 m hurdles, 138 cm in the high jump, 8.06 m in the shot put, 408 cm in the long jump and 2:51.38 in the 800 metres.
For the young athlete it was an important experience and an opportunity to compete against the best athletes in her age group.
