Two victories and a strong run from Miroslava Zíšková at Po buránsky 2026
Autumn racing took ŠK Jablonica away from the track and the roads and straight into the forest. On Saturday, 17 October, runners of all ages gathered near Ságelská studnička in Borský Mikuláš for Po buránsky 2026. From the youngest athletes to the adult races, Jablonica colours were represented throughout the day, bringing home two victories and several strong performances.
Sebastian Jozefík delivered the first victory. Racing over 740 metres in the boys' 2015–2016 category, he completed the course in 3:23.5 to take first place.
Linda Vozárová followed with another win in the girls' 100 metres. Her time of 15.8 seconds put her more than a second clear of her nearest rival in a field of eight runners. Vivien Kubisová finished fourth in 17.4, Ester Harasníková seventh in 20.3 and Veronika Ochotnická eighth in 22.2.
Jablonica colours across the age groups
Anežka Ochotnická finished sixth over 200 metres in 36.4 seconds. Over 740 metres, Diana Ochotnická recorded 4:04.9, while Laura Ochotnická completed her race in 5:16.2.
Šimon Ochotnický first raced over 370 metres in his regular age group, finishing seventh in 1:55.0. But once again, that was not the end of his racing day.
The nine-year-old also took on the 1.7 km course. The official results placed him in the junior category, where his only opponent was born in 2007 – ten years earlier than Šimon. He completed the demanding longer race in 10:16.0. In this case, the finishing position tells only a small part of the story; taking on a much longer distance against a significantly older runner was the real challenge.
Diana and Laura also tested themselves over 1.7 km. Diana finished in 10:16.4, while Laura recorded 13:19.7.
Second place for Miroslava Zíšková in the W45 category
There was also a strong result in the adult programme. Miroslava Zíšková completed the 3.5 km course in 16:57.6, recording the 9th fastest time overall and finishing second in the women's 45+ category.
Miroslav Ochotnický represented the club over the longest distance of the day. He completed the seven-kilometre forest race in 45:58.1, finishing 39th overall and 14th in the men's 40+ category.
Po buránsky provided another varied autumn race day for ŠK Jablonica – from short children's races and victories for Sebastian and Linda to longer challenges for our young runners and a strong performance from Miroslava Zíšková. This time, all of it came against the backdrop of the autumn forest around Borský Mikuláš.
