Viktória Nemčeková scored 3813 points in the heptathlon with several personal bests in Trnava

Two days, seven disciplines and another valuable multi-event experience. ŠK Jablonica athlete Viktória Nemčeková competed at the West Slovak Championships in Combined Events in Trnava on May 16–17, completing the full heptathlon for older girls.

The event was organized by Atletický klub AŠK Slávia Trnava together with the West Slovak Athletics Association. The heptathlon program included hurdles, high jump, shot put, 150 m sprint, long jump, javelin throw and the final 800 m race.

During the demanding competition, Viktória achieved several personal bests and collected a total of 3813 points.

Her performances:

  • 100 m hurdles – 15.05 s (PB)
  • high jump – 140 cm
  • shot put – 8.85 m (PB)
  • 150 m – 20.47 s (PB)
  • long jump – 452 cm
  • javelin throw – 26.11 m
  • 800 m – 2:50.92 min (PB)

The strongest moments came especially in the running events, where Viktória improved her personal bests in hurdles, the 150 m sprint and the final 800 m race. At the same time, she delivered consistent performances throughout the entire heptathlon.

Combined events belong among the most demanding disciplines in athletics, testing speed, strength, technique and mental endurance over two competition days. For Viktória Nemčeková, the championships in Trnava represented another important step in her athletic development.
