The indoor season offers young athletes valuable experience and their first major confrontation with national competition. On February 21, 2026, the Slovak Indoor Championships in the combined events for U14 athletes were held in Banská Bystrica at the Sports Secondary School athletics hall, organised by the Slovak Athletic Federation.

ŠK Jablonica was represented in the girls' category by Sára Dosoudilová and Sára Ester Mandáková. The competition consisted of a pentathlon including 60 m hurdles, 60 m sprint, long jump, shot put and 600 m.

Sára Dosoudilová delivered a consistent performance across all disciplines. She ran 9.05 seconds in the 60 m, placed third in her 600 m heat with a personal best of 2:05.64, and finished second in her 60 m hurdles heat with 11.65 seconds. In the long jump she achieved 3.85 m and set a personal best in the shot put with 9.13 m. She collected 2164 points overall and finished 19th in the final standings.

Sára Ester Mandáková completed four disciplines of the pentathlon. She ran 10.11 seconds in the 60 m and 12.66 seconds in the 60 m hurdles. In the shot put she achieved a personal best of 7.23 m. Due to health reasons, she did not start in the final 600 m and therefore was not classified in the overall results.

Competing at the national indoor championships represents an important step in the development of young athletes. Facing the best competitors in the country provides experience that cannot be gained in training alone. For ŠK Jablonica, it is another confirmation that systematic youth development is moving in the right direction.
