Young athletes of ŠK Jablonica gained experience in Banská Bystrica

Indoor athletics has its own rhythm. Short races, quick decisions and disciplines that demand versatility and courage.

On January 24, 2026, the ZsAZ indoor competition for the youngest age groups took place at the Sports Hall in Banská Bystrica. Young athletes of ŠK Jablonica were part of the event.

In the 60 m sprints, Sebastián Jozefík impressed by winning his heat in 9.96 seconds. Speed was also shown by Eliška Tomanová, who claimed victory in her heat with a time of 9.67 seconds.

In the 1000 m races, Anna Búranová achieved an excellent 2nd place, while Sebastián Jozefík finished 4th among the boys.

ŠK Jablonica athletes also competed in the standing long jump and other running events, gaining valuable experience against strong opposition.

At the youngest level, rankings are not the main goal. Development, movement skills and joy of sport come first.
