"Tami, you're going to the USA!"

The final weekend of May brought the West Slovak Individual Championships to Trnava, where athletes from the U16, youth, junior and senior categories competed against some of the region's strongest opposition. ŠK Jablonica was represented by a group of athletes who once again demonstrated both their talent and determination.

The final weekend of May brought another edition of the traditional Run Through the Čáčov Fields race in Senica, an event that is part of the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup, GP Záhoria and GP Slovácka series. Athletes of all ages gathered at the starting line, including a strong group from ŠK Jablonica.

Nové Zámky hosted another round of the West Slovak Athletics Association team competition for younger athletes and youth categories. ŠK Jablonica athletes once again demonstrated their progress through personal bests, race victories and valuable team points.

Strong competition, a high-level meeting and another important performance for ŠK Jablonica athlete Tamara Svatíková. On May 23, 2026, she competed at the TIPOS Challenge Slovakia meeting in Martin, part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze series.

Two days, seven disciplines and another valuable multi-event experience. ŠK Jablonica athlete Viktória Nemčeková competed at the West Slovak Championships in Combined Events in Trnava on May 16–17, completing the full heptathlon for older girls.

The Moravian-Slovak border region once again belonged to running. On May 16, 2026, the 19th edition of the traditional Běh o Malansků trnku race took place as part of the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup, GP Záhoria and GP Slovácka.

Fast sprint races, hurdles and technical events. Young athletes from ŠK Jablonica delivered strong performances and several personal bests at the latest round of the West Slovak Athletics Association team competition in Piešťany.
